No Need For Idols

The band No Need For Idols are a group of friends from Falkirk, who all have a keen interest in making music and decided to form the band in 2009. The members are Oliver Kitchen with vocals, Conor Matheson on guitar, Callum Waddell on bass, Adam Kerry on drums and Ben MacDonald on lead guitar. They started off their very first live performance in their home town and since then have shot up in popularity among friends and family.

Their EP was released in October 2011 and can be found on iTunes.

The boys have had a great success with playing in Glasgow venues such as Ivory Blacks and the O2 ABC2. Since then they have had even more success and have secured themselves a gig at King Tuts! This is a brilliant step forward as so many big bands have started off in this venue, such as the likes of Oasis, Radiohead and The Verve.

I am positive this coming gig is sure to catapult the band in the right direction, resulting in even more success!

If you are interested in going to the gig, it is on Friday 2nd March and starts at 20:30. Having attended many of their gigs in the past I would highly recommend you check them out especially as tickets are only £6!

Here is a little taster for you! Hope to see you all there.

REVIEW OF THIS VERY GIG IS COMING SOON!
